BUTTERFLY was present at EUBCE – European Biomass Conference & Exhibition, taking place last June in Marseille. The project was recognized as one of the winners of the Poster Awards.
Credits go to Alma Capa from BUTTERFLY’s coordinator TNO for winning the award and presenting the poster titled “Effect of Syngas Composition on the Production of Renewable Dimethyl-Ether (rDME) via Sorption Enhanced DME Synthesis (SEDMES).”
Alma’s poster showcases the research conducted by TNO, aimed to optimize the synergy between rDME and SNG production, enhancing both carbon efficiency and process flexibility. TNO’s findings provide a solid basis for advancing the project to the next stages, including testing at a Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL 7) scale.
